Rob Worrincy?

From what i've heard, has to be Rob.

1. Bowman looked really up for it whe some others seemed to be going through the motions and some nice touches
2. Rob 4 tries Worrincy. Could hardly do anything wrong. Some excellent finishing.

Bowman should cover 6 and Branighan 7 whilst Black recovers. Stanley can play loose forward or second row.

MOM Bowman by a mile, Warrincy might have scored tries but he's still crap, he wont play many games when all the squads fully fit

Rob is not crap and it still needs effort to score them tries. Rob needs to work on a lot of things in his game-Confidence, catching high balls etc but for me he gives 100%. With such a squad no player is guarenteed a place and for me Bowman should be starting next week against Hunslet. Sheffield is a game for Stanley. Each player has an important part to play for us this year and that includes Rob

Dont think Rob has dropped a high ball this season,

He's not crap, I'd rather have him in our team than playing against us, he may not have been as good for us as he was for sheffield at times, but I think with the right work it will come this year.

Rob will be an immense player for us this season. I can see him following Miles footsteps, by having a cracker this year once MC has had some time to work with him. We've all seen what Rob can do, now he's got one season under his belt I can see him being a bit more consistent. And like Brew said, much rather him playing for us than against us.

Frankie always starts the NRC well but then once the league season starts, he declines somewhat rapidly. He can't afford to do that this season with the front row talent we have now.

I don't think it's the high balls which are his particular weakness, he just seems to lose the ball when he carries the ball back to the defence fairly close to our line.



Exactly! We've got a cracking set of half backs and with the right work with them as well as the centres he will be a very dangerous player for us this year. At times last year he seemed to be lacking in that confidence and ruthless streak we all saw for Sheffield, hopefully yesterday's performance will go some way to getting that back.

Rob is not crap, I think he's got the potential to be a very good winger if he works on his ball security, if you watch him he carries it very loosely in the crook of his wrist which obviously allows for easier passing of the ball but that's not where it should be when you are entering a tackle and IMO thats what he needs to work on. If someone can rob the stats off Gonzo I bet you'll find there are a hell of a lot more higher scorers for dropped high kicks than Rob, I certainly don't recall seeing him lose many even though he gets most of them in his direction. He does need to run forwards more though

Weren't many of the people I recognise as board users, though I'd say the crowd of 400 and something was more than half fax fans, I think some Harlequins fans go to Skolars games when Quins are away rather than travel north all the time so with Quins been at home that may have knocked a few off the attendance.

Supporters Club Coach was almost full a d a few went on cars, and some southern based fax fans were in attendance too

The build up to Goddards try was top class.

A tad scrappy the first half, second half better. Patters needs to change the colour of his boots, the coloured ones he's wearing now seem to dazzle him, takes a few kicks for him to adjust to the glare!!

Penky = 3 looks good and only one dodgy pass!

Worrincy = 2 come on 4 and should have been 5 tries

Bowman = 1 he has something and is strong for a young lad.

Weird game really if we had really wanted it we could have got 80 or 90 and on a nice sunny day with us in flow we would have!
