Quote ="Fax4Life"Its a bad thing as look at football where you have had chairman changing a clubs colours (Cardiff) and another changing the clubs name (Hull) 'cos they want to. Let them have more say with the game and who knows what they will change??
Actually he has changed the name of Salford to the Man United brand = Red Devils, come on it is always going to be Man Us nickname not Salford RLFC's.
The guy will only be in the sport for 5 or 10 years tops and he will be off yet his 'changes' will be forever!
The sport is for all not just control freak chairman.'"
The majority of your post is incorrect. Salford were known as 'The Red Devils' years before Manchester United adopted the moniker, and held that nickname until the late 90's. So, Koukash is actually embracing the clubs history.
