| Some great pricing for the cup games,But thought of a new idea today was gunna tweet it but far too many characters for that,£15 is the price all across the board for a championship game,Far too much IMO as the crowds suggest with low attendances,I suggest as in football have a Category A games ie Feath/Leigh/Fax etc and have category B ie Barrow/Whitehaven/Swinton etc,Could price the A games at £12 the B games at £8/£9,Nobody could complain really as the pricing is still below the the average price in the league,We may not make as much money short term but in the long term it may entice more fans (home) to try it if it is cheaper for the matchday and in the long term it may lead to buying season ticket etc, also it may also attract the traveling fan ie (Cumbrian clubs) long distance to maybe travel away as the cost is slightly lower,Just a thought.

| When you say we may not make as much money, we actually made a small loss last year and I don't know that we could afford such munificence. Obviously, if attendances doubled we'd be quids in. But I'd be surprised if they did. It'd be a big risk.

| nice idea but i couldn't see attendances rise enough to cover the loss maybe in the odd game or two enough would turn out, the main cost for such as the cumbrian sides fans is the travel whilst it might attract a few more down from there again i can't see it being enough to cover the loss the club would be gambling on

| Not saying the price is set in stone,Could even go for £14 Cat A £12 Cat B,Just think the macthday price is too high,Instead off free games think this is a more viable long term thing rather than giving free tickets out.Just lower the matchday price maybe entice people to try then if they like it it could attract them.£15 in the current climate is a lot to shell out for,The kids for free is brilliant to be fair and makes it a lot more affordable for the family audience. In years gone by I used to go to SUFC on Saturday,The odd Steelers game then the Eagles,No chance now due to cost,It's either one or the other,Affordable across the board and everyone is laughing.

i agree with that one i went to both the blades and eagles but now mainly stick with the eagles as i just can't afford both i like the idea i suppose its just the way sport has gone its an expensive industry these days, if your idea would be adopted i would go for £15 cat A and £10 Cat B

| I'm reluctant to just reduce prices. First of all, it's like putting money into the pockets of people who were happy to pay your existing prices. Secondly, it just creates a class of supporter who only comes when it's cheap - or free.

| I don't think there was a price reduction if you bought in advance for the Barrow game?

No there was no reduction, i maybe worded that post wrong, i just wondered how many of that attendance were not season ticket holders and payed to get in on the day or in advance at the full price
