I see in the Newcastle extra of the Sydney Sunday Telegraph that Catalans have offered Wes Naiqama a three year deal.

The reporter (Barry Toohey) thinks Wes will take a 2 year deal for less money with the Knights because the Knights have also offered his younger brother, Kevin, a one year deal.

I reckon both Wes and Kev would be sensations in the ESL.

Wes is 28 and has played nearly 10 seasons of NRL, but he is actually in career best form right now.

Kev is 21 and has only played 1 NRL game - the last game of last season - where he scored a try on debut. Kev is a short guy who is thought by many to not be big enough for the NRL, but he scores at the rate of a try a game over the last 3 seasons in the NYC and the NSW cup, and it's generally agreed that he would be the fastest player in the NRL if he could make the grade defensively. Kev is the most elusive and fast player i've seen in years. He would tear the ESL apart.

Both are Fiji Internationals. Wes is captain of Fiji.

St George Dragons have offered him a 3 year deal and the Knights a 2 years deal ATM, so Wes will be staying i the NRL i'd imagine.

One of those was on Gordon from the Titans, who some people think is the fastest player in the NRL now, but Kev ran him down 3 times in that game - I was in the stands, and it was pretty to watch live.
