After mixed results starting match threads last season, I thought I would chance my arm for 2011 with a match we wont be expecting to win anyway.
Although with both Catalans and Saints recording unexpected results (and scorelines) last week, maybe there is the chance of a home win in Perpignan.
Damien Blanch seems to be the man in try scoring form for us and Saint Helens will be starting life sans Kyle Eastmond.
20-16 is my prediction.

A cracking game well reffed again by Mr Alibert - the game could have gone either way but the Saints held on to take the points.The crowd appreciated the Catalans effortat the same time admiring the Saints extra class (IMO) and everyone on the pitch played their part so it would be dificult to highlight any particular player but I have to say Lee Gaskell for Saints & Steve Menzies were the MOMs for me.
thanks lads for a great game and well done Trent for getting the lads playing together with such confidence.Good luck for next week when Clint will be back though TB is still a few weeks away.
