re - Eloi Pelissier - i've seen him twice for the Catalans so far and he has looked superb - he is destined to a great future in the game - believe me,he IS good
Spoke with him at TO last saturday evening and seemed a really nice kid along with his proud parents - he didn't seem fazed by playing alongside Clint & co - it just seemed natural to him. Can't wait to see him play again.

President Guasch has confirmed the imminent arrival of Millard & also the extension of Remi Casty's contract until 2014.

Confirmed today on local newspaper.

Wakefield wants to recruit a prop but they must to release a player. Daryl Millard will join the Dragons.

Might be a decent signing for you. he came over here with a decent rep but really suffered under the John Kear 5 drives and a kick method. Anyway good luck for the season and I hope you have millard all signed up and ready to play by the weekend

I was impressed with Millard at the World Cup, but as tigerman10 says, perhaps Wakey's methods didn't suit the lad.

All quiet on the south-western front

spoke to an 'official' at Catalans this morning and he says that the deal still isn't done and may not go ahead - nothing has yet been signed
as for the others - everyone else was at the training session including Hendo who seemed raring to go and Menzies who underwent a quite stringent fitness test to prove his fitness for the MM weekend game.Scott Dureau had a slight problem wehn falling awkwardly during a tackle and twisting his left foot but appeared to be ok after treatment.
The spirits were high in the camp and Pelissier was chuffed to be named the 18th man for the squad.

From the wakey point of view no players will be going in or out until we are out of administration. So I guess it will be next week now before the deal is done.
