We won't make 2nd, but 3rd is possible. Think Saints will do a "revenge" job on the Giants next week.

So its quite possible, even likely we will finish third, but still end up away to Saints.

I don't think you'll be far off with that, I can see us resting players next week so Saints likely to win, we should beat Celtic to secure top 4 finish, and may well rest players for Wigan, a dead rubber.

TBH 1st and 2nd are done, and whether we finish 3rd or 4th is neither here or there.

I have to agree with you, next week could ruin your season if you lost key players, don't think Brown is that daft to make school boy errors, and as Leeds and St's look to have sewn up 1st and 2nd think last game could be dead rubbers, john kear said he was hoping it would be

3rd is very achievable now.

I'd rather finish 4th if Saints finish top

Personally think we'll get turned over at wakey as they'll have far more to play for and we'll more than likely rest a couple, as has been said 3 or 4th is more or less irrelevant in terms of play off outcomes.

TBF i'm more fearful of Huddersfield that Saints or Leeds, so lets hope one of the other teams knock them out

I'd go with that, they're the one team we've been not looked like competeing with this year, their game really doesn't suit us at all.

nothig really, both get an away gane at either saints or Leeds, 1 v 4, 2 v 3, so theoretically 3rd gets an easier game.

The only way it would matter is if both 3rd and 4th won there 1st play off game then the team finishing 3rd would get to pick there opponent in the semi. (i think anyway)

Very little, in terms of the play-offs.

3rd place is slightly better in terms of licence renewal and teasing Hull fans.



2nd is unlikely, IMO.

I don't understand people saying it doesn't make a difference, my rational is that if we were to lose from 4th, the chances are we would play Wigan in the next round, finish 3rd then it looks like Wakey , Cas, or Cats. come on people, do you really not care where we finish?
