If he is fit for Friday do we play him or ease him back to match fitness with a game in the reserves or save him for a hard fixture on Easter monday against in form Huddersfield ?
If he chosen, who of the props do we leave out because IMO no one deserves to be dropped but then again he is club captain and argueably our best forward ?

Too risky, play him in the reseves for a couple of games and bring him back after easter. I know you cannot predict derby's, but I think will win or lose not because Vella is in or out, Huuds will be a THOUGH match and not one to make a comeback in.

Vella did a fair few laps of Craven Park with Billy Mallinson when i watched them train last Thursday.
Its the contact and twisting etc that needs to be right as opposed to fitness levels.

I highly doubt Rhys would be the one to make way for Mick. Fozz, Makali, Rhys and Vella would be the ideal prop rotation, but if Mick isn't 100% I'd give Scott Wheeldon a run in the derby. |

We'll rotate our props over the Easter weekend, I assume, but I'd rather see Wheeldon play in the Huddersfield game. He hasn't established himself at Rovers yet and for the game against Hull, the extra baggage could weigh him down or make him [itoo[/i keen to impress. |
