That bench is way too light. Stick Makali in instead of Cockayne, start with the Fish and move Fitz to the bench. That's what I'd go with.

Prop and hooker is where the main interchanges take place, we can shift the pack around to cover this as needed. Mikali has not been too good this season, he drops a lot of ball for me.

I think the fact that he has only named 4 props mean Macca will be on the bench at least. Can't see Galea playing centre TBH and there seems to be a hell of a lot of options in that 19, so much so that it is quite difficult to see who is most likely not going to make the 17.

He was flawless against Wakefield. Warrington are a physical side and I think this weekend will be ideal for Makka. To go into a game against Wire with 2 recognised props is folly in my opinion.

I like to see Fitzy start and then get Fisher on after about 25 minutes to change it a bit, that system has worked well up to now this season.

Would you guys not be better using Fisher as the starting hooker and then brining Fitz on after 20 to make darting runs using his pace?

I personally would start with Fish at hooker this week after our poor start in the forwards against Celtic last weekend.

I'd agree with that.

Fishers passing was much snappier than Fitzys last week, though he was doubtful all week with an elbow injury i suppose. Fizty against a tiring Wire pack who don't work the ruck very well in any case, could cause them all sorts of problems with his pace out of dummy half.

By the way, Im not putting all the blame on Fitz for last weeks poor first half showing from the pack, they performed poor as a unit.

Never said you was. Rather than Rovers pack being poor i thought the Celtic pack were pretty good TBF. The game last week turned on Newtons score right on half time.

That many options in the 19 it's really tough to tell what the team is.
