That's the way I see it. I wanted him to get a crack & he's gone ok but he just doesn't have any influence on games imo & hooker's a very important position these days.

If we haven't offered Griffin a contract then that's a serious mistake he will become a quality super league player in year's to come .Carille again is young and needs time and another i think will develop in to another good player

Failure to offer Griffin a deal will be a serious error. He's looked the real deal from 1st sight at Widnes last year.

Totally agree,one of our better youngsters,but would just sum our club up at the moment.

That might well be out of Rovers control because George made it clear when he signed his future lays in the NRL.

Looking at the fringe set-up in Oz, players like George can earn upwards of $80,000 which I imagine is way above anything Rovers will/could offer. He has added to his CV whilst at Rovers and looks a far better proposition for the likes of the Dolphins et al.

I hope he stays but I very much doubt it.

If it is the club's choice, it seems an odd one. He's really kicked on this year and has not turned 21 yet.
Without knowing the club's financial situation yet, it is a bit harder to judge, but still.

Walker is contracted till 2015. Can't imagine it will be him. Green and Tuimavave are also contracted for next year.

Out of contract props are
Ryan O'Hara, Mickey Paea, Richard Beaumont

Nobody will touch O'Hara after his injury problems, Paea will join Wigan or return to the NRL but I'm still hoping he suprises everybody and stays with Rovers. If Beaumont is worthy of a contract extension then I'd hope he'd stay after Rovers showed faith in keeping him at the club despite numerous injuries that could have ruined his career whilst he was at an age where other clubs wouldn't have given him the chance.

Walker we paid a transfer fee just a few months ago and 3 year contract.

The player you want is O'Hara get in quick with a bid now and we'll probably reluctantly accept. Money problems, uncertainty etc. we'll have to let him go to a bigger club.

If this is true I would be disgusted, we cannot afford to lose our best youngsters or will will be also rans for a long time, look at the quality of kids FC are bringing in, Green, Crooks etc. We must keep ours, not just the mediocre ones nobody else wants.

It might be that we cannot afford to keep them either. Unfortunate, but not really disgusting.

Beaumont is 25 and has played in only 11 SL games, so it seems a unlikely to me. Griffin would seem more probable from the lower profile ooc players.

As for FC, Crooks and Lineham look good but Green looks bog standard, let the Hull fans rave about him cause he charged a kick down from an offside position!
