There's no delayed announcement, even if there were it would not necessarily mean there were a debate over putting the club into administration, and it is clearly not the only way forward for new owners or investors. Apart from that, bob on!

Harking back to your previous post, administration isn't likely to turn us into a viable business - only 2 or 3 of the very best supported clubs can manage that. Given who are creditors are, there just isn't much point currently, for all that you clearly really, REALLY want it to happen. Soz.

I'm pretty confident we've secured funding for next year. CS being offered a new contract is the firmest indication of that. Plus the piece in the HDM, earlier in the month. Hopefully there are additional irons still in the fire. It'll be interesting to see if we offer any players contracts for 2015 or beyond. With the likely return of relegation next year, and the frquency with which SL clubs seem to find themselves in trouble, I suppose our position won't be dramatically less secure than a few others. Which isn't necessarily saying much admittedly.

The delay in an announcement might be due to the fact that hudgell is in Spain on holiday this week it's all sorted investment wise so that should put all the Hull fans who are worrying minds at rest

The stalling is probably due to due dilligence unearthing the unviable business model.

Investor person has lost a bit of initial enthusiasm as their accountant took an involuntary gasp when he saw how the business model has been running and how debt will need to be serviced going forward. Of course Mr Hudgell and Crossland will rightly want to recoup some of their loans and in a brisk timeframe , naturally.

The Salary Cap just looks way to high at £1.5m and really it needs trimming to £1 million. However this is why the talks are stalling , £1m on wages. How can they chase success on £1m but how can they run the club on break even basis, without reducing the Cap by £500,000.
£500,000 is what the Club loses each year so common sense says reduce the wage bill as there are no other costs left to reduce. Neil has already cut to the bone remember.

BUT will gate revenue fall if it is a team of kids finishing 12th/13th ? maybe bottom ?

So for me that's why there is no announcement . The new investor would love a crack at it but with a clean slate and we all know what a clean slate involves for the current debt holders.
