Not at all, Mrs Barista may be the senior financial advisor to the IMF for all I know, but she knows nothing about the inner workings of Hull KR, she picks out sound bites from here and there and forms a long winded opinion. As I said, I am happy to leave the running of our club to those that are in charge, they KNOW the true picture and are prepared to underwrite the clubs finances, which must mean they have confidence in their abilities to make a success of it.

My thoughts are that you have basically answered your own question. Being a Hull fan, you clearly have lower expectations on your team than we have of ours. Relegation has no part to play in future strategies at HKR, continuous improvement is the future.

Relagation has no part to play for any team this year, I would rather my team consolidate than take the chance of going out of existence. Wouldnt you want the same for rovers?

It's not poorly informed either, youve signed a couple of good young kids and thats it. Have i missed something?

Rovers are consolidating, they just happen to be consolidating a bit higher up the league table than is comfortable for your average Hull fan to be happy with.

All this "trying to run before you can walk" stuff from Hull fans is getting a bit predictable, and really shows the true reason for the massive interest in Rovers current financial position. I would only be hugely concerned if monies were owed to external creditors. As far as I am aware, the overwhelming majority of debt sits with director loans. This doesn't concern me, as the directors are Rovers to the core.

It's a shame though, our league positions could be poor for the next 10 years and we'll still be in business, if your debt keeps mounting like it is for the next 2 or 3 seasons you'll struggle to stay afloat.

I think we all know that, even me who struggles to balance my own finances month to month, but most of us don't need some of your 'technical' accountancy posts, for one we don't understand them and for two your intention is to wind everyone up at every opportunity. I read and respond to your shorter posts, but as for the rest I'm afraid I have no interest in. I firmly believe that the board have everything under control and apart from financial gliches due to the recession I think the financial position was to be expected and is only part of a longer term strategy.

A plague of injuries, our most influential/creative player ditching us mid-season in 2007, poor recruitment and retention in both playing and backroom staff and having half the team pi£$ed up most nights.

Don't worry though, we'll be back to being top four before long and continue reaching finals regularly. You on the other hand might scrape into the playoffs this year, but next year when Cooke, Galea etc are gone and replaced by kids, you;ll be fihting it out for the wooden spoon.
