There is a very valid reason why Dobson cant make it in Aus, and why he is highly unlikely to ever be putting any winners medals along side his "awards".

The guy has one of the best kicking games in SL i will give you that, but as a team leading scrum half and "winner" when the going gets tough.., thats another matter.

With regards to signings, i would assume that we are in the market for a class losse forward or hooker. Mr Fisher has been told he can look elsewhere i understand.

This looks like a sad indictment of your rugby knowledge, if by games that matter you mean Wire at Home (CC), Leeds away and Wigan Home in the play offs then I'm assuming you've decided to ignore the fact that he was behind a pak that never got on top in the first two and also that he should have been taken off in the latter as he played 3/4 of the game on one leg.

Ok he has had the odd bad game but taking into the equation he's still only 23 and is still learning his game and he will get better, he is a key part of our team that we should be building around. Put it like this if he was playing in the Leeds or Saints sides this year he would have been lauded over as one of the best overseas signing of the season.

I assume the deadline for 2010 signings has now passed?

Our season only finished a week ago, NRL finished at the weekend and SL finishes next week. So taking all that into account along with the fact the next one doesn't start til next year I'd assume theres still time.

If an unfit rotund "project" without a lot of playing time has become a fans favourite things are a lot worse down at the council ground than i imagined.

I think this has all the markings of a rule spin machine in full action. Make a very average signing seem like a major coup by touting round how he's the most sought after rugby quantity of the year. This way the signing of a squad player they already had becomes a headline signing. Seems to have the humbugs happy tho'.

Call me cynical if you will but most clubs annouce their big signings when the new season tickets are coming up on sale. Or was our youth player of the season your big signing????
