I can see Cox taking Cook's position in the squad and Sheriff, Cockayne's without too much pain. With the emergence of Taylor, we're not short of numbers at prop, we just need someone who can dominate a bit (can you dominate 'a bit'?  ). If Mason goes unreplaced, I'd hope that'd cut costs/provide opportunities without leaving us too thin. The rest of the senior players need retaining or replacing, IMO - getting better value will probably be easier than adding quality though. |

Next year?
Just a settled side, no serious injuries, youngsters getting more airtime, a couple of decent grunters up front to allow Dobson and Green to weave magic, Watts to put it behind him and shine, new coach or not I'll be behind him, a decent home kit(white with red band and red sleeves please).
oh and bring me back the rufus I know and his entrances, I know the robinettes do their best but they aint the wildcats!

You mean they're embarrassingly awful, like ours? The Wildcats aren't great, are they? The ones with the most credibility are the Leeds and Quins ones, surely?

Always thought Smith was a bit over-rated because he played for that very successful Leeds team. Not that he's rubbish, but I couldn't imagine him getting in England squads while with a weaker team. Good versatility though, so if Sheriffe kicks on he wouldn't be a wasted buy.
MT has only played 5 SL games for Wakefield so I'd be very wary about signing him.
