I know returning to the original point is a bit of a radical concept. But given FCs previous for pitch invasions at our ground, which cost us a fine for not controlling the crowd iirc. add to this the ease of access to the pitch from the north stand, would it be wise to offer them any allocation for in there, bearing in mind the improved facilities, plus the fact it's a derby, would probably mean we could sell it out to rovers fans. Give them the good old South, and if any want a seat in the north let them buy up any spares from our outlets, once all Rovers fans that want them have been catered for.

Don't know to be honest. But if the South holds about 1200 that's more than 10%. I can't see it being any bigger percentage than that, although, as I say I'm not sure of the ruling.
This wasn't meant as an inter club wind up by the way. It was a genuine question, is it really worth our club leaving itself open to the potential grief if the stand could be filled with home fans, bearing in mind the fact there has been "previous" at this fixture.

Your probably not as sad as a couple of the other but if you look back at my post history then you'd see that I've thought from day 1 we(fc fans) won't get the the north stand ! I sat in the golf stand a few years back were it was half n half and there wasn't any trouble iirc and I wouldn't imagine they would be again

It all depends how they are doing in the league. They struggled to shift 600 when they were having a bad season.

I don't think there was ever an allocation as such for the Golf stand for FC though, any sat in there would have had to buy them in dribs and drabs from our club shop/office so you would imagine they would be more spread out, and probably less of them than the home support. I agree there is no reason to expect trouble, but who expected trouble in 2007? It was more a rhetorical question, because other posts had raised the issue of how easy it is to access the pitch from in the new stand, do we as a club, really need to leave ourselves open to any potential trouble, and resulting fines.

You can't have the full stand because of season ticket holders you will get the two end sections and the south stand but I guess like Leeds fans there's nothing to stop you buying tickets in other sections
