How bizarre. Can't be the same, surely it'd be common knowledge.

He has some adverts around the ground for his business so is a good possibility it is Hudge. I was told a few weeks ago he was a vice president of FC!!!!! which I just laughed at.

I can picture it now, Adam Pearson's SMC telling the council that it makes great sense to invite National League HKR with crowds of 1500 but ignore those pesky Hull FC with their Super League status and a fan base of 5 times the size

That is irrelevent mate, the fact is Adam Pearson is a business man and wanted all 3 in there meaning more profit for the SMC through bars and events.

Why would he choose to offer a very poorly supported club at the time the stadium but not Hull who have always had a pretty good fan base and were far better on the field at the time.

Just because most HKR fans live in a world that started in Super League the fact is when the stadium was built HKR were tosh and the suggestion Adam Pearson would offer them exclusive use over Hull is laughable.

The contruction of the KC was dependant on FC and City both agreeing to play there, no mention of Rovers, end of.

This is one of those rare moments when I find myself in total agreement with you. In 2002 we were garbage and I had to shout in the East Stand just to talk to the nearest other speccie. Jeez, we even got outnumbered by Hudds in the Buddies Final.

We would have looked as daft as Donny moving to the KC back then, and thats before you start mentioning its westerly location.

As a Rovers fan you must never dare suggest that the Worlds Greatest ever team has ever been overlooked in this way.
