UNTILL the 2 players who were making in roads and sheffield couldn't handle{ WATERMAN AND DUNN }
AND HE TAKES THEM OFF!!!! AND THEN HE GOES AND CAN'T FIND TOUCH AND SHEFFIELD SCORE!
Well PC you lost us a game we should have won comfortably.

Ref was still absolute rank again i don't know where he got half his decisions from.

Season going from good to bad in 3 wks. Can't believe it.

The only good thing out of today is that Dewsbury and Batley lost.

i think for next season we need some proper bigger,wingers with pace that can beat someone on the outside.
We don't have anyone who can do that, i think sandos time has probably come aswell,
he was through today and couldn't beat them for pace and his size probably lets him down aswell.

I am not putting him down just making a fact and next season will be even harder.
Bradford and London should be favourites to finish in the first 2 places which leaves a massive scrap for the other 2.

never went today as away on holiday but with 4 games left and sitting 4th I think its been a great effort from all involved. I certainly think its been a great season 6 points clear of Dewsbury its our 4th place to lose and after the season so far would be disapointing if that was to happen. Go again next week and i will be there to cheer on the lads COYD

It was poor today , both sides were poor in defence , Sheffield had the edge in creativity.

Yes we are 4 th and I think we have a really unlucky season with injuries which shows in the size of squad. I also don't think we have really had the best out of the DR. We need a bigger squad and some better players and ditch DR as a club. Which will be harder if finish with less money and smaller attendances. None of which is helped by the teams overall inability today to make sensible decisions and carry out no end of penalties. Sorry to say but this is something that club has not had right for years. You give away niggly penalties you cost the team and hence you should get dropped that was infuriating today and if PC acts like March then that ain't going to help. Get in the training room privately and sort it out. Pity Grant Edwards sat in stand on not on pitch playing today. We've dropped the ball somewhere there. If they don't change like has been promised last few weeks Worky will destroy us.

Needed a scrum half today and for rest of season and thought Miller was sure to be in the side with Wilkinson out. Spav tried but not good enough. Problem in the last 4 matches as no one else on books and too late to sign. Miller was not in Hull squad Friday so unless injured have we said goodbye to DR for the rest of the season? Miller would have to play in 3 of remaining fixtures to be available for play offs.

Some observations from yesterday;

We were certainly better than at Keighley.

The first 20 or so minutes of the game probably defined the outcome. Playing a man short for half of the first half was almost certainly going to impact on us late on. Even allowing for the numerous individual mistakes (in fairness Sheffield also made a good few) playing 13 against 13 it was a pretty even contest, which early in the second half we started to edge. However, not being able to pull any further away than 10 points always left the opposition in the game and some of our players were certainly starting to feel it late on.

Once again we had no kicking game to speak of. In fact it was kicked out of play in general play (on more than one occasion) and left in play from a penalty.

We are really starting to struggle for creativity.

No point in mentioning the officials ...

You might well be right but I think your boys got more than half of the marginal ones.

25 penalties in total which over 80 minutes it's not going to be one for the spectators. Highest count in all the games this weekend and the referee had the lowest rating in all the games 37/100 in League Weekly. Just shows his inability to control the game and hopefully it's the last we see of him this season.

I think that giving a player ten minutes is a decision that should not be taken lightly.
Both of those given were wrong in my view, but IF Cooke abused the ref he's a numpty..
If he was just questioning what the hell was going off since Robbo did no wrong then the ref is a (allegedly).

I wasn't happy at all with the first one ... Wasn't a Sin-binning in my mind and also a case (I believe) of mistaken identity.

The second ... kicking the ball away, was probably asking for it. Although it was notable that later in the game when they threw the ball away no card was forthcoming!

On the official Dons website PC has apologised for his sin binning:
