Cant see any reference anywhere to him kicking goals.

Decent player with good hands and an ok kicking game. For me he is an out and out SH but has been played almost everywhere except that position at Hull KR. A stand out player at reserve grade he needs a run in one position to get the best out of him. He isn't blessed with tons of pace but will be a very good player at NL level and imho could still be a SL player given the right opportunity.

Charlie I'Anson.

I think he is a loose-forward-cum-six, as he's fairly big. Not bad at SL level but even so, won't be the creative pair in our half-backs. Thackeray to scrum-half it is.

PC seems to have a decent record of bringing in players from the fringes of other clubs that do well for us..
Craig Hall, Steve Pickersgil, Jon Grayshon and even Kevin Penny were all players stuck in the reserves when they came to us..

Almost any player signed for this team should get the benefit of the doubt until they play, and you're right, it can pay off big.

Has there been an announcement for this signing by the clubs yet? You've got less then 48 hours to make him eligible for the NR Cup quarters and Friday for any game beyond in the NR Cup.

Last day for signings to be eligible for Championship games is Friday 9th July this year.

I don't think there has been any announcement from either side yet billy. That doesn't mean that the deal hasn't been done and the papers registered with the RFL. I'm sure it will be tied up in time.

Won't get near the 19 when everyone is fit i dont think although i think he's an average player at this level and he wouldn't have been released by wigan if he was good enough some think he will be the next big thing so i bow to their superior knowledge

The reason Bowman left Wigan was due to travelling problems since he was only 16 and didn't have an easy way to get back and forth from Wigan. Nothing to do with Wigan not wanting him.

I'anson is has a good rugby brain but isn't ever going to make the Super League standard

Well the way people speak they believe he will be a stand-out super league player which he wont be as if he would wigan would have kept him and like the players released they haven't really set the world alight anywhere, just average players in their own rights.
