Didn't get to go but it sounds like a really good win for us considering the circumstances. Slightly worried about Yates, aside from another injury being cast upon us he went off in a neck brace according to reports so it doesn't sound good for the guy and I hope he is okay and this was a precaution.

To come away with a win under those circumstances is a real plus point for us and it's pleasing to see us battling on through it all.

That is a hell of a result backing up from Thursday and with the injuries that we have mounting up.

I was at the Wids watching the 16's and 18's both beat the Wire and I was expecting a tight result with the firsts but hearing the result made my day.

Yacca is fine, i spoke to him in the service station after the game.

Chris Gerrard and Lee Doran were both excellent today, Lee played 80 minutes on Thursday and was fantastic and again another MOM performance and another 80 minutes. Gerrard gets better with every game and IMO he always needs to be in the 17.

Great news that Yates is fine.Good to see Gerrard getting better, as i have only seen him play a few times so can not comment.The games i have seen of Gerrard he just looks steady and never stood out.I be happy with a bonus point against fev, as they look really good at the moment.
Tom Kelly seems like he is doing very well for a young lad.

Gerrard is one of the best defensive players i have seen, i dont think i have seen him miss a tackle yet and his technique is very good, he's also starting to bust through tackles now.

Cant look past Lee Doran though, cracking game from him today.

Doran (80 minutes never missed a tackle and plenty of drives)
Gerrard (created the 1st scored the 2nd, never missed a thing, gets better every week)
Paddy (scored 2 that needed finishing and made a try saver first half)

Highlight of the game was when Snot Him banged on the glass at the back of the stand when Paddy got the last try. I think it was his way of letting the Batley fans in the corporate area know that Snot was enjoying himself

all i can say is their fans encouraged me by banging on the glass when they scored
