It's good to be supportive but there is a line and I'm amazed that something so bias (and inaccurate) would be allowed on an official website.

Also rather diplomatically shall we say.. no mention of the stewards needing to escort the officials from the pitch at FT..

There's always an official from each club that does the time-keeping and controls the hooter so the timing is always fair. Going on that therefore you've got to take the rest of the report with a pinch of salt and presume it's all bollox.

Now now guys come on. He is only saying it as he saw it, and yes it's on the official website but what is it they say, the views portrayed do not reflect the views of the company etc.
As a Batley fan, I of course think we lost out due to Mr Hewer, however, I also recognise that in our exciting game, filled with passion, others may have a totally contrary view. It's how it goes.
I think the match reporter, who is by the way a thoroughly decent individual and a true RL supporter, suffers by putting his report on almost immediately after the match, when passions are still inflamed.
For what it's worth, I thought it was a really good game, both teams going at it for the full duration. I was impressed by your go forward and reckon you will be right up there at the end of the season.
For us, it's rare that we truly give you a real game, and we reckon we might be in for a half decent season, so let us enjoy it!
While it may be annoying to read his report, it's also annoying when we read things like it's our cup final, or that you, or anyone else will definitely finish above us in the league. Who knows?
So anyway, have a great season, and I am sure you are in for some success, hope we are too.
