Given the unavailabilty of outdoor training facilities due to the inclement weather, the Vikings will train tonight on Everton FC's indoor pitch at Finch Farm in Halewood. The Toffess have kindly allowed Paul Cullen's squad the opportunity to train there ahead of the World of Beds Cup game against Warrington on Boxing Day.

Vikings' CEO Alex Bonney said, "Whilst the forecast for the end of the week is better, with temperatures rising, at the moment our normal training venues are out of action and the offer to train at Everton is one I would like to thank them for. It is a tremendous gesture and with their new facility less than ten minutes from the Stobart Stadium Halton it is an ideal location in more ways than one.

"Meanwhile tickets are still on sale for the World of Beds Cup and we would urge all fans planning to attend the game to buy in advance to avoid congestion on Saturday. Tickets, priced £12 adults and £6 concessions, will be on sale at the Club offices until noon tomorrow, Christmas Eve, and at the O'Neill's outlet in Widnes town centre until 4pm.

"On Boxing Day tickets will be on sale at the Stadium Fitness sports hall from noon."

It's good to know we have a good working relationship with Everton, that training facility is first class.
