Don't know much about Tuson and Armstrong but I'd be well pleased if they all come off.

Wheeler is top quality and would be fantastic at this level

You cant have Dual Contracts from more than one club. The SL club has to designate the Champ club as a partner and then they can use dual contracts.

Also got mentioned in several news stories around the time Leeds signed up the Whitehaven prop Kyle Amor in August (ish), but again no detail.

It'll have to be spelled out in the Operational Rules soon I suppose but the RFL are probably still working on the fine print aka [imaking it up as they go along[/i.

SL clubs can only have 1 lower league club for dual contracts and a max of 5 players who have to be registered,
They can also play for both clubs (i.e. if not picked to play in the SL clubs 1st team at the weekend they can play for the other club that week)

Think we will be partnering the crust munchers TBH...... their chairman has publicly stated that they will be loaning us players next season.

I think Armstrong, Wheeler, Frodsham, Emmitt and Lomax could be some of the players that would gain some experiance from it.

Get a squad together and stick with it. If new players are required, get them to sign up for the rest of the season at least.

I think that section is just supposed to be players that we are signing on Widnes owned contracts.

I'm not really happy about this [i'Dual Contract'[/i malarkey. I certainly don't see the point in bringing on youngsters from SL clubs at the expense of our own. I'd rather see us go for some decent experienced players alongside our own youngsters.

I guess the new cap and exemptions f**ks that up.

Unfortunately the only way we will ever escape becoming a feeder club is by playing the RFL at their own game. When will these people have the decency to walk away and let someone with the interests of the game as a whole take charge?

Well, we've promoted Houghton who I rate, we have Gannon and Kavanagh so I'd like a more experienced prop anyway. Good luck to Davies, if the opportunity to stay in SL is there I don't blame him one bit.

We only need 1 more prop so lets hope we can get a good one.
