He's a classic case of a confidence player.. you could see when he first came to Widnes that his nerves were a little shaky.. in one game at Halifax he looked scared to try and put a tackle in.. but his self belief has grown a little and he looked a different player at the end of his spell..
Obviously when he went back to Warrington he was nervous again considering all the flak he takes from their fans and by all accounts unsurprisingly had a mare.. Sometimes it's worth just writing off your time at a club and moving on. Having said that he's a warrington lad, a warrington fan so it will be hard for him. At this stage I think a loan deal or a dual registration would suit all parties concerned.
I'm still more of a Paddy Flynn fan myself though and think it is imperative that he gets his chance this year..
