1. Gannon - A true leader and dished the punishment out just as much as he took it. Awesome from Jimbo

2. Duffy - Come on scored and generally caused Barrow loads of problems around the play the ball.

3. Webster - Marshalled the troops well around the field and his kick for Penny to score was great.

Massive respect to all the players though you did the town proud lads.

Pickergill - Really took it to them in attack and defence and didn't get drawn into to too much scrapping!

Webster - dictated well and showed a few touches of class!

Doddy - Solid at the back and made a few good clearing runs when they had us pegged back a bit!

TBH I found that hard to do, as all 17 were excellent (Even Doran did well

)!

I am chuffed to have been proved wrong on my perceptions of Pickers (immense) and also Ben Kavanagh who also had a great game!

We lost a lot of forward battles at the start of the season but with Gannon, Morrison, Pickergill, Kavanagh, Doran, Fletcher I can't think of a bigger bunch i'd want to lead us into battle! Then you add the quickness and skill of Varkulis and also Tim Hartley playing a bit of 2nd row and we look really good for the whole 80mins now!

1 ) Duffy Made a huge difference when he come on and kick started the period of the game where we dominated and won the match

2 ) Gannon For pure grit and determination, he made himself a target and then didnt back down. The real pack leader yesterday.

3 ) Doran I havent been Lee's biggest fan since he returned but he had a very good game yesterday, coming up with some big plays at important times. And his ball retention has improved massively over the last few games.
