However, your quote is ridiculous. A few cheap shots in the back of Bretts head was hadly a courageous act. He soon got out of the way when Brett turned round. Why Hewer sent Brett to the bin defies belief.

The forward pass try just before half time took the wind out of our sails and we were chasing the game from then on. Too many mistakes from us and not enough strength on the bench cost us big time. Your halves (and Duffy) looked sharper as opposed to ours who were clearly not 100% fit.

As I say the best team won. Looking forward to the league match at Craven Park where hopefully we'll get a stronger 17 on the park.

You miss the point. McDermott tried to play the hard man from the off and failed, he didn't make the same sort of impact after that. Gannon did not take a backward step all afternoon and was still looking to score right at the end.

Brett McDermott was the one who came out to intimidate Gannon and failed miserably. Barrow played their part in what was a brilliant advert for this league, which showed a skill and physicality level of any SL game.
