Loan agreements for Pickersgill and Penny are up, lets hope that Mr Smith at the Wire allows us to keep them for another month or until the end of the season. Craig Hall still has another week or so to run but he is another i want tied down.

Penny has been getting a bit of stick for his defence. Would you rather keep him as a short term solution, or throw Paddy Flynn or Scott Yates back in, given that they're more likely to be at the club for a few years to come?

It would be pretty much like for like if Flynn came back into the team and Penny went back, but I'd rather we keep him. IMO its a case of "needs must" if thats the right phrase. It would be nice to let the all of the loanees back to their clubs and have the youngsters pick up where they left off, but IMO we have changed so much in the past few weeks, I'd rather us stick with who we've got.

What would we do if Hall, Pickersgill, Penny and Grayshon all left and we started to struggle again? Rather than disrupt things, IMO we need all the new ones to stay and we can worry about the youth development once the licence box for performance is ticked.

Penny saved two try's yesterday, did really well in the 2 on 1 situation when he was left out on his own

Although slightly off topic, in think its an important few weeks for you. Seems there may be a SL place up for grabs quicker than many think. Apparently Celtic are on their knees financially and the RFL may have to take some action, they are losing money hand over fist.

The RFL won't allow Celtic to fail. They are the flagship of the whole Franchise system. Can you imagine the flak they'd get? Holy cow.

Can they afford in these times to keep gambling like they have been? Interesting thought, although I'm treating this rumour as I treat all of them. I did say in these uncertain times the powers that be may have to fall back on the tried and tested, so even in the event that after three years we do get up to super league it probably wont be long before the outer mongolian buccaneers replace us with lots of promises.

I'd certainly not shed any tears over celtic though.
