I think if we do what we did against Featherstone last Saturday in the first 30 mins and get them scatching there heads we should do this one

I think you definately have to strike first. We struggle when teams start on fire from the word go. You need to be 12 points up half way through the first half, otherwise forget it. Barrow really got into our faces all the way through the match but we were just too quick with the ball. It was a constant sortie of attacks which just drained the Barrow lads. You have to fight fire with fire to have any chance of winning.

We hit Featherstone really hard in the first 30 mins and it was like the old days at the club where we used to kill off the game straight away .

you gotta think fev had one eye on the barra game.

Its not about how Feath performed, the marked improvement by our players was there for all to see

All joking aside...this will be a cracking game, and may the best team on the day win. I cant honestly see the final being any better.

As Cullen has already said in the press, its basically the Widnes pack v the Fax pack - whoever wins that, will almost certainly win the game. Shame we can't go into the game with Grayshon, but with Gannon, Morrison, Pickersgill and Fletch all in good form, we at least have a chance.

Will be interesting to see if he goes with Duffy on the bench or Hartley, the latter is more versatile but Duffy rotating with Smithy could be a key factor.

Tend to agree with most of whats been said though, our pack must be better than Fax and we must keep the ball of them as much as possible.

To put a downer on things I think that this game has come maybe a week or two too early for us and unfortunately away from home.

There is no doubting that the game last week showed that we are a team on the up but I think another week or two would make all the difference. Even if this game was at our place I would be more confident but I just think we need to be a little more patient just yet.

I'm going over hoping for a win obviously but the feeling in my stomach at the moment says don't get too excited......... or it could be last night's chinese I suppose.

Who ever wins this will go on to lift the cup. Besides, no one cares about Barrow
