Paul Cullen's side trained this evening prior to Saturday's clash with Featherstone Rovers in the Co-operative Championship at the Stobart Stadium, Halton.
New loan signing Jon Grayshon is included in the 19 man squad as is James Webster who has shaken off a knock he picked up last weekend against York but John Duffy has not yet recovered from his injury.
The squad is Gaskell, Varkulis, Kohe Love, Thackeray, Webster, Morrison, Smith, Gannon, Doran, Fletcher, Paterson, Hartley, Dodd, Kavanagh, Bannister, Pickersgill, Hall, Penny and Grayshon.
The game kicks off at 6pm and match tickets are available from the O'Neill's outlet in Widnes town centre from 9.30am and from 3pm at the Stadium Fitness box office where fans can also book places on the Club's coaches to Halifax.
Tomorrow's curtain raiser sees Halton Farnworth Hornets u16s take on French side Toulouges, kick off 4.15pm. Contrary to press reports there is no free admission for the curtain raiser.

I hope Cul does have the guts to leave Doran out the side, might bring him down a peg or two and get him to start working on his game again, the difference when he wen toff last week was embarrassingly huge!
Glad Bannister is back, he needs a good 8-10 games to start firing for the play offs, and with Morrison, Fletch and Vark all fit they are as good a second row combination in this division. Hope we can get the win, big game for a top 3 finish.

I'd go with that VM. I'm not sure about us spanking teams with that squad, I still think our pack is a bit shaky, but it looks as strong as I've seen it for a while. We also now have a lot of players who have barely played together, so it's not ideal. I hope we beat Fev, but I'm not too sure we will. |
