Well I thought both sides were very similar and Webster and Smith,in patches, were your most creative.
Second half the handling of both sides was dire.
Your team spirit doesn,t appear to be there but to write the season off after 9 games is daft. Get behind your team thats what they need at the moment.

Video ref gave some shocking decisions that were crucial.
Leigh are a tin-pot little club who rely on braun because they have a lack of skill across the park.
Even though the game was on Sky, they still had a poor crowd and don't deserve Super League.
I told them this much in 2006, the year we were promoted but they didn't listen.
I'm sure Widnes will get a franchise next time round with such a great set up you guys have there.

Your club has set an example which all Championhsip clubs would do well to follow but 5 seasons ago your crowds averaged a lot less than 2000.
I don,t hate any club it,s the game thats important at the end of the day. |

The season is not over because I think Widnes will make the playoffs. However as I stated here:

The last two matches were crucial for Widnes, as they are matches that Fax, Barrow, Featherstone and Toulouse are likely to win. These two losses are likely to prevent Widnes to make the top 4 at the end of the year. Now, the only solution for Widnes to make the top 4 will be to get 1 or 2 wins away against Featherstone, Barrow and Toulouse.
So I would say that my best guess is a 5 slot at the end of the year, with a first playoff match away against Featherstone or Toulouse. Naturally lots of surprise can happen, and Widnes supporters could also get some nice surprises during the season. |

Yep.. I was just trying to say that there was definately an intentional obstruction.. but did Durbin really need to lie on the ground for the next 10 minutes and spring to life when the penalty was given? |

last week mr hicks gave Featherstone Rovers a try, it never touch the whitewash, even Iestyn Harris could not belive it, anybody could see it was sort, the players had set up for a play of the ball,, dont know where he gets them from, not fit to be a video ref, infact is he fit to be a ref at all, ?? |

Durbin was chasing a kick so would have been going at a fair pace - only fair to suggest that there would have been a fair amount of force in the connection, even if it was largely from the pace of Durbin rather than the force of the collision. |

2 to level scores , yes
2 to take the lead , yes
2 to take the score past 6 or 12 , yes
2 to take a deficit from 6 to 4 on a night when there is a good chance you;ll not manage to complete a set from your own half , no
2 Weeks running now you've had the chance to take the initiative and both times a bad call has allowed the opposition to settle down and regroup

It was not by Hicks, it was by Hewer for alowing Widnes' first try from a blatant forward pass.......but of course the Widnesians are hardly likely to mention this
By the way, for what its worth, Hobsons was a 50-50 call so benefit of the doubt should go to the attacking team but i would have been a little upset if this was given against Leigh, like I was upset for the first try by Widnes |

I had no grumbles with the video ref and think the game was reff`ed well.
The Doran moment gave different stories from the 2 angles the camera caught it and that is the only moment the vid ref foooooked up |
