Quote="Pepe"That's how us posh folk from the South Stand pronounce it.
The Sth Stand, the Nth Stand, the =#FF0000clock end stand on the West Terrace, and the=#FF0000 ‘Cow Shed’ at the score board end. So yes, four stands. Ok there were gaps here and there.
There were two butty bars; one in the corner of the Nth stand near the ‘Cow Shed’ and another in the Nth-Sth corner.

The pies were nice but, if you got there late, you'd get the one that had only been in the oven a few minutes and they were freezing. Botulism must have been rife in those days.

I will admit that it was a bit of a tip, BUT, way back in the prehistoric days before Sooper Dooper League, Naughton Park was one of the very few RL grounds where you could stand under cover on all 4 sides of the ground (Barrow was another !). The cowshed on the east side admittedly wasn't very big and the cover on the west side (to the right of the players' tunnel if you were stood at that end) was pulled down some time around 1980-1985 ish.
