Same goes for Lineham, doesn't look out of place in the Team.. If we sign Crookes from Bulls will he get the 2 shirt?! At the very least it seems we will have a good squad and strength in depth.

Great news for both Ben and Hull Fc. These youngsters are the lifeblood of the club: You only have to look at the likes of Wigan, Leeds, Warrington and St Helens to realise teams with a healthy youth system, not only have greater competition for places, they also play with more enthusiasm. If we (Hull Fc) can keep the nucleus of these guys together and continue to introduce more youngsters (rather than signing stop gap players) over the next few seasons hopefully, we can challenge the top four with 'some' regularity. Out with the old, in with the new.

After just a few first team games, Lineham looks comfortable at this level. For me, he has done his time in the 20's and he is ready for a prolonged run in the team.

Far more impressed with Lineham than Crooks, not to take anything away from Crooks. Lineham looks ready for a starting spot, Crooks still has a way to go but looks a good prospect and will provide great competition for places.

Crooks has been played out of position though, he's probably played more out on the wing than he has at centre.
