| If all were fit, some difficult decisions about who plays where IMO.
Richard Horne is in good form, either 1 or 6
Berro is class, best at 9.
Houghton an out and out 9, MOM yesterday
Lee also in good form, 9 or 13 for me
Washy doing OK at 6, better at 13
Tony probably back v Wire, best at 1
Thorman not delivering, should be dropped IMO
So, with no genuine 7 who's to play there? Should Horne stay at FB even if Tony's fit? Of all that lot, I think Berro's the nearest to a SH we've got - definitely looks better at 9 but we've got the cover there.

If we put berro and washy in the halves were back to were we were last season and we was all moaning we didn't have a recognised HB combo! So for me it would be Tony at FB, Horne at 6, Berro at 7 and washy 13.

| replace Thorman and we may actually get somewhere, he needs dropping ASAP, he offered absolutely nothing yesterday, we could have played with 12men and you'd have struggled to notice the difference.
if Motu's fit enough to play at put him back at full back, and try Horne and Washbrook in the halves against Wire

| 1. Horne
6. Thorman
7. Berrigan
9. Houghton/Lee
13. Washbrook/Lee
With us being so strong in the hooking position, I'd like us to replace Tony and Berrigan with two class specialist halves (scrum half AND stand off), Thorman (Who I'd also not keep) has been poor recently but it's mainly due to his very average kicking game. With Horne at fullback he's still the best no.6 we have. We don't have a single no.7 at the club but Berrigan can be the closest to it for now. Playing good distributors at fullback and loose forward will lessen the need for the quality halfbacks until we can rectify the situation.

| Thorman was shocking yesterday. In a team that although not spectacular against Cas, but hard working, Thorman didn't match up to the others efforts.
He looks lacking in both confidence and ability. Do you have any youngsters ready to step up to scrum half in the same way Myler has at Salford?

Myler is very much a one off. It's like saying does every Premier League side have someone like Wayne Rooney who could step up at 16 and make the grade. It very rarely happens, and Myler is a special player who every other club in the league would love to have.

I know he's a rare talent, we're the same at Rovers, should Dobson get injured long term we have no current answer at the club. You did have Thackery who was sent packing, people used to speak highly of him, and although I obviously didn't see that much of him I do remember him having an outstanding game at Wakefield on Sky a while back.
Thorman though is in the comfort zone, he knows he has little pressure on his place in the team without switching around the rest of the teams structure to compensate, same as Dobson, but Dobson performs, and performs well, Thorman on the other hand......

| Agree about Thorman he brought nothing yesterday. If he could kick it would be something but time and again he picks out their back three with his kicks even when he has plenty of time and field position to kick from. One good game in ten isn't enough.
I'd go:
Tony at FB
Berrigan centre in place of Whiting
Washbrook/Horne halves
Lee/Houghton hooker
Whiting Loose forward

If one of us wins the Euromillions... pay off the majority shareholder, say to Agar "here's a few million quid, go buy the players you want" and ensure he gets Myler from Salford as one of them.

I don't think Thorman lacks effort, I just think he's completely useless!
Thackaray had a couple of good games, but has ended up in the championship, can't say I was fussed that he left to be honest.
as for Myler I think we were rumored to have tried to buy him last season, but Salford were having none of it

Maybe, as said I didn't see that much of him. With Thorman getting a one year deal, of which I think I'm right in saying, a better option would have been a player I did see plenty of in James Webster and although he is limited in some areas of his game, he would have brought you a better kicking game than Thorman and even more improtantly, his best strength of all in his organisation skills.
Getting rid of Webster was one of Agars biggest mistakes.

I think Hudds are in for Brough for his kicking game as Robinsons isn't that good, Brown was very good kicking wise yesterday.
Robinson is very good at organising his runners, something we lack big style, but still doesn't offer us that great kick.

| Whoever the pivots are we MUST have a creative ball playing 13, not what we are playing with at the moment (nothing against Radders).
I'd like to see one of Washy, Lee or Berro at 13 (the latter would be great)
