Has it stopped clubs progressing forwards. Are clubs safe in the knowledge that they will not be relegated if they finish bottom. Is this why some clubs will stick with a coach or staff under performing. I think I can safely say that if relegation was still around one or two coaches would have been sacked by now. Are clubs happy to plod along with the 'We'll get it right next season' attitude. I don't mean this thread to be aimed at our current coach, just SL in general. Any thoughts?

Think that's true of some clubs, not necessarily 'we'll get it right next season' but more a 'we've got three years to develop all aspects of our club before licence come round again' attitude. There no need for teams to panic and bring players in anymore. they don't have to throw everything at staying in the league. Think Salford and Celtic will definately think like this. but for the regular Super League sides it should be a season as usual.

spot on...also think if a team knows it cant be relegated they are just going to go through the motions (especially if theyre near the bottom of the table)
thinking oh well we cant go down lets just turn out which is unfair on the fans.
also what about the poor teams in the lower division what chance have they got of progressing knowing there's no promotion?..

This gives teams like Celtic a chance to get to possible superleague level rather than club comesbup then down next season

I dont think teams are resting on their laurels (ie...us), I know what Hull FC are capable of and i'm sure it will all click into gear again soon!

i think youll find catalan have a better set of players than celtic...

And Catalans home advantage probably has slightly more impact than Celtic's!

I definately think McNarmara would of parted ways with Bradford if relegation threatened,
I think Noble would of toddled off too.

Think you will find it is Celtic's first season in the SL and they are doing as well as Cats did in thier first season.
