Yes you are right about meters per carry, exaggerate is possibly not the right word I should have use ( I apologise), you seem to have highlighted the best bits, however they are not that outstanding, apart form meters per carry, his tackle busts are not that great..he still has imo a long way and when you compare him to a player like James Graham it highlights at the moment he is average with potential and I do not blame the club for not going with more than a 1 year deal
Compare his stats to Scott Wheeldon then you get an idea how average Sam still is. |

Ive got him at number 10 because basically there's no one else. Dowes in on par but to have Cusack not in the 17 would be criminal as he takes a quota spot. |

Persoanally I remain to be convinced. He is an enthusiatic player but I'm not sure he commands a quota spot.

I think hes a good use of a quota spot. In my opinion, quota spots should be used on players that are different to those in England, ie. impact - Palea'aesina, Fa'asavalu, Vagana, Moa etc. Or players that lead a team, ie. B. Hodgson, Barrett, Johns, Swain. |
