It has happened many times in the past against touring teams and there were some great games the question has to be are we playing too many games already? It would certainly give stiffer opposition in mid season to an England team than probably any of the home nations would, but the injury question has to also be a big worry, I think its a long way off myself!

Think it is a good idea for the city of Hull to celebrate its sporting traditions. I would like to see this happen when touring Nations visit the UK more often.

Shame there isnt more Hull born players in the line up but hey ho.

Why not have a combined Hull Rovers academy side and play a curtain raiser against England academy and make a day of it?

He never mentioned ST George spoke about an Australian or New Zealand side as a possible curtain raiser to the World Club Challange presumably a team selected from the rest of SL.

St George have said that they will not have a warm up match, so it's all academic now

Unlike them....we dont need the income and i couldnt give a flying 1 about there board....they are doing a great job of loseing money.

Some people are so small minded; the game would provide positive publicity in so many ways, including selling the city to overseas players. There are times when Rovers and FC should work together for the good of the game and the city.
It's a shame there are so many backward looking 'supporters'. You lot can call Hudgell all you like, but he is a sucessfull Hull business man, who puts money, time and effort into a sport he loves, it's a shame more don't do the same.

While it is a good idea, I'm not sure it was nh's, his other comments will make sure it doesn't happen.

It is a shame hull and hkr can't work together on some areas, but it's pointless debating who's at fault for that.

The prat shows nothing but contempt for Hull FC and it's supporters so remind me again why we should listen to anything he has to say?
