Really disappointed with that. I didn't expect us to win, but when you've got yourself right in the game at half time you shouldn't come out and surrender so limply.

That said Saints are a very good team, take the positives, work hard on defence again, and we'll have a crack at Warrington next week.

It's early days, but it is potentially worrying. Not to mention confusing, seeing as we were assured that last year's strong defence was thanks to Radford, yet now he's in overall charge it appears it might have gone to pot.

Yep.
On this occasion, it really is that simple.
Nearly every trey against comes off the back of a penalty. It giving us way too much to do in defence which is why we're getting tired and missing tackles.
36 points last week, 22 points against a solid Saints side..... Scoring points isn't the problem.

Would have liked that to be closer personally, but a 12 point loss when some were predicting a Saints blowout isn't 'terrible' by any means.

Missing Carvell for the whole second half won't have helped, but mistakes at crucial times and some less than stellar defending were the main contributors.

We are giving teams easy chances by conceding pens and they are scoring of it.......Is the Myth that is Houghton catching up with him?

I'll not pass judgement on discipline until I've seen the highlights at least. On the face of it we have work to do there though.

Tbh I expected a larger gap and a higher score from Saints, so overall not such a bad result. We really need to sort out our discipline, because if we hadn't give them few tries away straight in the second half on the back of penalty's it could have been a different game.

I can live with that performance tbh . In patches we were very competitive . For 20 minutes saints were un playable . Roby , LMS and walmsley were fantastic tonight .

Tbf Watkins was as bad tonight as Yeaman ever was, he would have had another hat trick if he wasn't so greedy/rubbish.
