What if you are a 70 year old student, which pass would you go for ???

This is my one gripe...the passes haven't gone up by £10, they've gone up by £15 as the club seem to have convenientlyforgotten the VAT reduction. It also means there is a small rise on all other passes.

I think I misseed the VAT thing so it's £10 for me.

they have froze the price of the season pass,but are adding on £15,if you pay by direct debit.where is the logic in that?i have a couple of direct debits,but i have never been charged extra,for taking them out.

If you pay car/house insurance via direct debit you do indeed pay for the pleasure.

Personally I am rich beyond my wildest dreams, and generally don't know what to do with my salary!
I just don't like feeling as though I am being sodomised. Its painful and the 18th man Old faithful bolony coupled with the "all passes are frozen except adult passes" really hacked me off. Such an amatueirsh crock of crud. Don't know why I expect any different.

You don't actually, you pay an underwriter to cover them in the event of you not paying.

Lots of things incur an extra charge when choosing direct debit. £15 is a bit much for 3 payments though.

Also the paying an underwriter would not be relevant in this situation as if you failed to pay any of the installments they could just revoke your ticket.

It doesn't cost to draw a DD, and if they'd pay for the relevant systems then there is no processing cost, but they wont, because Jimmy knows best!

there are plenty of credit cards (m&s and Tesco to name but to) that have 10/12months 0% on purchases. Which is an option for people.

direct debits involve admin costs and the risk of people not paying the full amount, so I don't feel £15 is excessive. Hull City also charge a fee for their direct debit facility.

Relatively between passes going on sale and christmas youre right. After then the VAT goes up so theyre correct.

Guess the different sales dates and the VAT changing make it difficult for FC Marketing to come up with a slogan. On reflection maybe they could have simply said:
Season passes on sale. 2010 prices are......

Its funny cos the £10 rise for passes and the £15 dd charge if i did that is less than i would spend on beer at 1 home game. Some people need to put it into perspective i think instead of just moaning at the club again.
