ive had the pleasure of spending some time at the brisbane broncos and i can tell you that there whole attitude to "entertainment" is completely differant to fc's.....the broncos are so proffesional when it comes to pre match etc... basically before the game they have a MC who has a camera man with him and they get afew ex players and current players out on the pitch for an interview etc which is shown on the big screen for all to see..giving out free merchandise etc etc its alot more fun etc......
there cheerleaders are WOMEN not girls, there all in there 20's and stunning in there tight jim beam sponsored maroon hot pants etc.....no dis respect to our girls but it is a little poor in my opinion watching ten 13 year olds prance about....
even when the players come out there is fireworks etc and a horse with a cowboy on it rides around fully decked out in gold and maroon etc..
half - time again has alot of free merchandise give aways etc, and the club is always announcing to the fans information about ticket/membership availablity and club news etc etc etc...

so come on fc, take a leaf out of the broncos book and sort it out....

One thing I would like to see is the mini-rugby at the South Stand end - although should I admit this - I do like watching the cross-bar challenge

tbh i would very much like too see a good tribute band , e.g. "beautiful couch" they was ok when they preformed what happend to them?,

however shurly it's better than the silly tannoy woman shouting and getting players name wrong and not reli knowing what to do!!!

Spoke to Eddie on Friday and he is getting the band back together as we speak.

Can't even get our players names right,what must visiting teams and supporters think.Amateur from top to bottom,we've even gone backwards with the announcer and pre match entertainment.Cut price management of the club with the fans paying one of the highest price admission fees.We want a clearout from top to bottom.Do these directors actually go to the games?

To be fair I understand she is a professional broadcaster (albeit a rubbish one) and so when Hull emplyed her they would of expected someone who could do the job.

However having seen how rubbish she is surely they could of sacked her by now.

Instead of cheerleaders use strippers, I know at least 3 blokes who would convert from Rovers to FC if you did that.

Judging by the title of this thread i thought it was going to be about the sports bar not having any bitter on draught, only cans!!

its all very poor, we don't want it to turn into Odsal but its got worse and worse, and being unable to hear the team clearly is criminal. and i imagine the sponsors aren't happy, as having their name read out before the game is one of the big attractions of player sponsorship

theyve had 'cheap' entertainment before that people have enjoyed, like the army/navy guys doing combat moves was alright the other year. Now we get absolutely nothing, and its no wonder theres no atmosphere because people are getting to their seats later and later.

I turn up at the last minute as it makes me cringe to think that people might boo one of our players names as the teams are read out. The only pre-match stuff I would turn up early to see would be the reserve game, but we all know that won't ever happen at the KC.

Complete lack of any prematch stuff is a large part of why going to the KC is turning into a chore. The Club is in the entertainment business and at the moment they are not doing it either on or off the pitch.

Last time I can remember being entertained before the match was Leeds at home last season. An older group of dancers that actually looked as if they knew what they were doing. What has happened since then?

To be fair, I thought those young lasses doing the dancing at half time on Friday night were quite good, much more entertaining than those airlies angels last season..... the choreography (big word eh?) was much better too.

Agreed though, the club has always gone for the cheap options on pre-match / half-time entertainment

we can't boo the players whilst the teams read out anyway, because the woman who announces them shrieks so loudly you can't here who's playing where anyway!

Why do we need pre match entertainment most of you are still drinking ect for me i would rather chat to the people around me mind you we have to shout at each other because the rubbish music is far to lound

In a fairness I thought the young cheerleaders were good, it is a fantastic opportunity for youngster to get the opportunity to perfrom their dance in such a large arena, no doubt all local lasses lets get behind them, would sooner see this than scantily dressed women tbh.

Actually, having worked for the club in the past I think I'm better off where I am.

My father-in-laws dog would be able to read the team out more clearly and probably understands the game enough to announce things in the right context. (not you Craig
