11500-12K would be the perfect start considering Salford hardly bring any away fans. If we we're playing Leeds, Wire, Saints & Wigan then i'd think there'd be more than 12K but again, it's Salford so 11500-12K would be brilliant IMO.

Alternatively Friday nights for the Yorkshire clubs and play Lancs clubs on a Sunday

Ive never really understood why we have played on Fridays after the football season ends. I understand they take priority on the weekends they are playing but for half of the year we are the only ones playing so no reason we cant play on weekend.

It would have a negligible effect. We switched to Sundays in 2012 and the attendances were down for almost every game despite it being a marginally better season. The Wigan attendance on a Sunday in 2012 was 11549 (11729 on a Friday in 2011). The Salford attendance on a Sunday was 10776 compared to 11699 on a Friday in 2011.

This is 2016 not 2011/12
needs a rethink to get more away fans in for matches.
Like i said could try first having the Lancashire clubs here on Sundays and the Yorks clubs with less travel on a Friday.Nothing worse than the M62 nr Manchester on a friday night.

Moving games to Sundays would not automatically mean more away fans.

Fridays Sundays. All excuses. If you wanna watch your team you'll watch them. Footy fans make it all over the country on every day of the week.
Sundays were tried. Crowds went down. As for away fans. Most don't travel much either way. Not jamming up the roads into hull on a Sunday when rovers play.
Personally I much prefer Fridays. All day getting up for it at work. The buzz of it being weekend. Then after the game the weekend is mine. Especially good in peak summer. I find the atmosphere is better too

Decent backs but your pack looks pretty awful.

On looking at their potential line up, they do have some decent backs, but your right other than masila their pack is nothing compared to ours. It maybe tight to start with but hopefully with our far superior pack power we should be able to dominate half way through 2nd half. What we have to do is keep the penelties to a minimum as piggy backing them up field is the only way I see them troubling us. If we do this then I see a routine win. But as we all know with hull it's never usually as clear cut as that. But I can't wait now roll on Friday

I think we should target Josh Jones he's only just come back from union so could be a weak link get big Frank running at him he'll poop his pants

I can't see Salford being able to go toe to toe with our pack, to cause us problems they will have to play more expansively, and that's not easy to do in the first week in February. If we were playing this game in July I might be more concerned, but I think this is the ideal season opener for us.

We won't carve them up like we did Rovers last week, but as long as we remain patient and our support play is as good as last week then we will be absolutely fine.

You probably wont, but you still need to get the ball out of your own 20 , 30, think youll struggle to make the meters. If you can manage to play the game in our half with a good kicking game, youll cause us problems, and with dobson, theys a chance you could do that for periods of the game, just not enough, I hope

Fair play if we do decide to go up the middle we will loose by a fair margin. But from the performance last week against Hull 90% of our tries were scored on the flanks. I know we might not have the quality forwards you do but with Carney, Jones, Sau and Griffin making the metres.
