Absolute nonsense. Seymour looked better than last week, but had nowhere near as good a game as Horne today. Agree about McKinnon though, two good games in a row.

Horney was poor last week and certainly didn't out perform Seymour. What I want is both of them playing well week in, week out. If they do then we as a team will win more than we lose.

I thought Seymour was pretty good today, personally. As was Horne.

horne was a lot better today, as was seymour and most of the squad, people were over reacting last week against a team who had previous hit outs and treated the game as if it was a cup final!

I know, the last few years we've been more concerned at whether Dykes/Head/Long showed any signs of injury!

I dont care who was better out of Horne and Seymour as long as the pair of them are a better partnership then the oppositions half backs.

I guess you're one of these fans that because Horneys from Hull, that he can't do no wrong.
Like I said he is very inconsistant, has more bad games then he does good and is very predictable.

Fair play to him today though, he did pretty good. Seymour still showed him how to have a good kicking game though.

How can one half back out perform the other ?

Surely if one of them had a good game the other one must have done too as they work as a team. If Horne had a good game it will be purely because Seymour did things at his end all right and vice versa.

Comparing your own teams stand off to your own teams scrum half is absolutely bonkers.

Thought Seymour was better today, but Horney did very well. Good to see our halves linking up and threatening the defence. I do think sometimes he gets caught in two minds whether to take on the line or not, but that will come with confidence.

Nope, I don't think Horne was good last week, I thought he was poor, and Seymour was really poor. I also think our antipodeans are given a lot more rope. Last week Seymour's kicking game was really weak, and was ok today. Everything that was good about us today involved Horne though, and I wanted to make sure he got some credit for a change. I agree Horne's not been as consistent as I'd like, but to pretend Seynour has been better when he clearly hasn't so far, is criminal.

There should be no such thing as a dummy runner, That phrase should never be mentioned at Hull FC anymore.

Each to their own I suppose, but one thing is for sure is that Seymour does everything at a faster pace than Horney though. Horney still acts slow and predictable and I can't see that changing anytime soon.

think you are wrong there, watching todays game, wasn't it seymour who got caught in possesion on the last tackle and had a kick charged down? watching the game closely you would have seen horney run the line and pulling forwards out from the middle creating gaps
