Totally agree with this. It's a big ask moving halfway around the world whatever your age but maybe more so for the younger ones. Thankfully with Horney in such scintillating form at the moment the club won't have to rush Miller into the team and can just ease him in gently. The Faithful need to be patient though and give him time as well.

Looking forward to seeing him in Fc shirt, going to have to major impress in training to get in the team at this moment but a good signing.

Who is this kid ?

I think Colin Best was of a similar age and it was probably the best thing to happen to him in terms of career development. So lets hope for the same for this kid and as people have said "patience."

If you read back through Smailes tweets on the subject, I'd say he gave a pretty acurate picture of how things have unfolded, Smailes has a good working relationship with FC and I think he would prefer to keep it that way, his interviews with players and staff in the HDM provide plenty of column inches and sell plenty of papers. Doubt his editor would be pleased if he went for a one off scoop and soured that relationship (remember we banned Blunderside for quite a long period) if he was working for a National paper it would be different.

Good signing, hard to see where he fits into the 17 at the moment but that's a much nicer problem to have than deciding who to pick at 7, and looking forward to seeing him play.



I'm pretty sure Smailes said when that Moley was saying it was all signed that he expected him to sign but nothing was finalised yet, which appears to be the case with him being confirmed today.

Going by what James Smailes has said, it seems we'd already signed him for next year anyway, and the reason it wasn't announced was because Miller was seeking a release to try and get here this season. Which has now happened.

On a separate note, what the **** is Potter doing at Wests? He's released there highly regarded young 7 (Wests fans are furious) and now he's benched Benji!
