I'd never hold it against anyone who moved for reasons of ambition, so long as they were honest about it, if he goes to Wigan, Saint or Warrington or even L**ds then it's his call, it is his career afterall.

Hopefully he'll see something at Hull next season that encourages him to stay, but if he decides to go to the best league in the world to test himself then he'll have my blessing, but I doubt he'll be one of the top players in the NRL.

Will be impossible to replace in terms of value for money - signed current deal 3 years ago and his stock's way higher now. Apart from Ryan Hall, no better British wingers around so wonder what we'll do. Expensive overseas wingers haven't really worked out that well for us. Should have kept Craig Hall. Briscoe was a big fan of Agar, hopefully he will build a good relationship with Gentle and stay, however like Standee points out it is his career and rugby careers are very short lived so he will do what is best for him both financially and professionally.Sadly I would not be shocked to see him at Leeds in the future.

If he really wants to go to Oz, fair enough. He's not the finished article though, as his performances against NZ & Oz have shown. It could be a high risk strategy for him. If it pays off, he'll be world class.
If he wants to be released it must be at a time that works for the club too. Given that buying Westerman out of Cas apparently cost £100k+, we should be looking for a very big fee.
As others have said, hopefully Hull will improve so that he wants to stay and win silverware.

Expect the Aussies will be very impressed with him physically, seeing an unusual combination of genuine power and pace. They will be less impressed with his execution/skill level but will attribute this to the very poor "coaching" he has had at Hull, and will believe with proper coaching and practice he will improve greatly.

I think this will be a good test of APs ambition. Although I dont think we should just throw money at players to keep them, we should be able to hold our own against british clubs. NRL's another matter anyone would would want to test themselves against the very best

I would like all of this countries best players to play in the NRL. Only that way will they learn to play with the right intensity week after week to give us a real chance of beating Australia.

As for Tom being "bothered to stick around", he's being chased by clubs in the world's best competition for likely double what he's on now. He's not stupid, of course he should be more than tempted. Not like he's a centre that's struggled for any gametime in his favoured position and been given a wing spot because his club have been forced to release their preferred pick at wing, Misi Taulapapa, is it?
