Seems very odd and almost petulant that Ogre seemingly expects to have a contract based on HIS wants for a coach. If it is true then he obviously doesn't give two hoots about us long suffering (and boy have we suffered!!) fans and indeed his fellow team mates. Surely the majority of the players must see the absolute need for new blood at Head Coach level and if they dont (and Im sure the majority do) then perhaps the clearout should be monumental and vast. I cannot or maybe simply dont want to believe that such talented individuals do not want the opportunity to make more of a mark on Super League and the honours on offer and it is beyond comprehension if they believe Agar should be given the opportunity to naff up yet another season for both them and us. To be honest I wont allow them to do this to my family again as I simply wont, like many other families, renew our passes.

IF true, O'Meley should either a) put himself in our position or b) start delivering results.

I estimate we've spent £8,000+ following FC under Agar during which time we have not won a play-off game, nor beaten SL opposition in the cup since 2008 and lost 10 straight games vs Leeds, as well as losing 5 out of every 6 games against the top teams.

Chuck in a fortnight in France in 2009 to go to the game in Beziers, and its upwards of £10,000.

During this time, I could probably count on one hand the games I've absolutely loved and re-watched, days where it's been a joy to be an FC fan. If Agar was so fantastic, surely he'd be delivering better value for his employer's customers?

Im only saying what i heard,doesnt mean to say its true,im sure all will be revealed in the coming weeks,seem to remember earlier in the season we was all saying that he was the best thing since sliced bread,now some arent bothered wether he stays or goes,got to say tho wether hes playing with a injury ive no idea but his fform has dipped big time since exiles game,saying that tho he is valuable to our squad.

He is a great player, no disputing that, but if hes stating that "agar goes, he goes", then so be it, no 1 player is bigger (or irreplacable) than the club, better players have come and gone, and if he wants to skip into the sunset with the 2nd best coach, hes ever played under, than as long as he holds Agars hand, to make sure he goes, than bye bye zippy and bungle!!!

I'd just like to say, my Sipowicz quote was entirely tongue in cheek. I was only saying on here last night that it's amazing how fans turn on a player at the merest whiff of them wanting to leave.

I still maintain that we'll be a better side next year with him in it, although we'd certainly be a better side without Agar at the helm, so the loss of O'Meley may be the small price to pay for an Agarectomy.

I really like him as a player and he's our best prop. I think people are saying:
1) If Agar's as much of a genius as Ogre claims, why are results unacceptably poor for a Grade A club?
2) People don't want Ogre to leave, but if Ogre's saying they're a package, patience has run so short on Agar that they'd be resigned to seeing Ogre go too.

I fine post, and I am sure many Hull supporters are in a similar position.

If I heard a presenter/guest on Radio Humberside's sport show, correctly, he stated that there will a full/ in depth article from Richard Agar in tomorrow's Hull Daily Mail, in which he goes into detaills about things @ Hull and his plans etc., for the club and he has no intention of leaving.

Well, if that is correct then I suspect many will be saving a fair bit of money next season, me included. I have reluctantly stopped listening to/reading what he has to say on the subject of his plans for Hull.

If it is true then it's extremely reassuring that we haven't had news of O'Meley's contract extension yet.
