Interesting that people think that because people live thousands of miles away and are not attendees at matches, or have opinions on the club that they do not contribute. Like you, apart from the historical perspective, I make vastly more contribution to the club today than I ever did when I lived in England.

One game we look like world beaters and the tactics and gameplan seem to have been planned down to a tee. We look enthusiastic with good line speed and play with flare in attack. Then the next game we play like 13 men who have met up on a pub crawl and everything seems disjointed and a total mess.
Now if someone could explain this it would be helpful

It’s Radders sleight of hand, occasionally we slip and show how good we are, it’s the thoroughbred in us which cant be restrained, yet Radders reigns us in, we don’t want to be high flying, this time of the year, third will do for now, lulling the Cheshire/Lancs runaway leaders into an unbeatable train of thought, slipping the odd 60/80 loss in for good measure, yet when it really matters we will unleash hell, and all will wonder how the black & whites have captured trophies once more.

What a difference a week and 1 game make. 3rd with optimism to 5th with realism.
Another inept performance, another blow out score at home by a team we shouldn't be getting thumped by, beat possibly but not thumped.
Poor attitude from the players and Radford again at a loss to explain why.
It's the consistency of nights like last night that make me doubt Radford's ability to take this team any further.
A measure of a good coach is how well their team performs under adversity and we just seem to constantly melt.
Don't expect to win but just to expect a committed performance would be acceptable and yet we never seem to get that.

HDM reckon you have 17 players out injured but when i look at your line up last night that must be a near full strength pack you had, so who are the 17 injured?

If you look at saints, who are head and shoulders above us performance wise, their overall squad isn't really any better than ours but holbrook has all of them playing at a high level of their ability every game. That's where we need to get to. If we change the personnel will that get us there? I'm not sure

Saints brought in 4 youngsters and recalled Swift from DR for their game against Cats and absolutely battered them.
Were as we would feel sorry for ourselves and get hammered.
This for me highlights the difference in coaching ability and mindset.

…. and missing Liam Harris was a blow, he's a half decent scrum half, and with Westerman carrying an injury, Tomkins didn't need to get out of first gear.

Other than makinson, Thompson, walmsley and roby, the rest of their players are pretty average but are playing consistently well. Coote looks good too but other than that I doubt anyone else would significantly improve our team. It's more or less the same group of players who were rubbish under cunningham

Are you suggesting in a combined Hull/Saints team there'd be 8 Hull starters and 5 from Saints?
Again without trolling i think only a fully fit Kelly and maybe Sneyd would get in Saints starting 13

Saints are miles better than Hull in every aspect. Delusional to think FC are anywhere near as good as them. They stuck 60 on Hull just recently after resting many players which says it all.

FC fans are overrating their squad yet again. It's an upper mid-table side (at best) not one which should be in the top two.

Well "upper mid-table" in a twelve team league would get you into the play-offs and then in one off games who knows. Cas were "miles better" than anyone else in 2017 and Saints were "miles better" than anyone in 2018 but neither ended up champions.
