It still puzzles me how you can completely absolve the players of all blame when many of them seem incapable of even passing or catching the ball. Surely they don't need to be coached to do the basics?

Although having said that our completion rate was way better last night than it has been for the last 6 weeks.

Realism will only come when people look at things sensibly and realise we dont have a divine right to be in the top two or three.

Ok, I agree we have regressed to a certain extent, but I dont think it is as bad as people make out.

What HAS happened is that the rest of the league have caught up and have improved no end.

Apart from Crusaders there are no really poor teams anymore, the likes of Huddersfield, Rovers, Cas and Quins have all got better, which can only be good for the game.

I for one dont want to see two teams dominating all the time and think it is refreshing to see the so called top four finding that they cant have things all their own way.

The league is so much more competitive and intesresting and at the moment I would prefer to watch any Super League game ahead of a Premier League.

I know we have a few problems but its not the end of the world.

The Board need to wake up and rise to the challenge.
From 2006 runners up to 11th last season is not good enough. Recruitment and retention started by P Sharp has been poor.
Players of the calibre of Cooke and S Briscoe have not been replaced.

If they are not willing to back the Club with money for the side then please move over and sell to people who have Hull FC in their hearts.
Being grade A off the pitch is all well and good and to be applauded.
The truth is Hull FC are for thousands of people an obsession. In the right hands with a combination of Business sense and reinvestment in our Coaching and playing structures we can rise to the top.
Hull FC in the right hands with the backing of it`s fanatical fan base could be , and should be the biggest Club in British RL.

Its all about practising the moves etc in training for me. Stupid mis-passes and dropped ball as well as poor line speed in defence, no fight to get up and slow passing in attack as well as no dummy runners doenst come from the players, they simply havent worked at the stuff in training. Looking at the poor fitness to im really starting to wonder what they actually do in training.

Im not totally absolving the players from blame, but i am happy that we keep the players we have due to their potential and develop them and work with them. Our coach however is the one that has put them out on the park with the preperaton that theyve had and to the patterns they work to.

it's a tough one for me, i think the guys feel that under pressure thats the reason we are playing the boring one up rugby which is so predictable, skinny said on the radio the other week just after half time the goals the guys will be given is to complete the next four sets. which we even failed to do that. i do feel the salford win will help the lads kick on for next week though

Its funny that people brand themselves as realists when attcking things if looked at independantly I guess you would look at the good things that are happening and have happened by the club. I work in East Hull in primary schools helping to develop the next generation of fans/talent for our next sports fair(sports day with extras) I contacted all 5 main sports teams in Hull (yes even the red and whites,I have to do that bit its my job) about them sending players or a mascot etc to the 2 days and withing and hour John Flatman had confirmed that airlie bird will attend both days with a member of the squad. Hull Wasps took about a week but fair do's as they are a smallish club and they are sendingplayers down. Hull city are to busy for players and siad if we want roary and if he is free its £25 a day(this is despite us holding the football foundations sponsored penalty shoot out on these days with half the cash going to pay bullards wages) Hull KR and the Hull Hawks havn't replied so I am chasing them up the first contact with each club was a month ago. SO please if your a realist look at the big picture as well. I am worried at the moment personally that are coaching structure is not effective but I suppose the club might feel they owe it to Agar to give hime chance. Alot on here credited Agar with the GF appearnce when Sharpy took over so maybe he just needs to take a step back and look at what he was doing then to get us passing the ball.

And the issue isnt that we are 3 points off 2nd, the issue is that we should be at least joint top if we had performed like we could and should have this season.

Every side could say that, well most of them anyway. Wire, Bulls, Wigan etc.

People have to accept that every team keeps beating each other this season and no team has a divine right to be at the top.

I know that, and i accept that every team keep beating each other baring Saints.

However, that does not mean we should not have been winning our games. If we had played well and being beaten i wouldnt mind, we just havent performed well most of the season which is my annoyance.

Was saying all week that I thought we would win, and thought it would be a close, scrappy game and I was right. I thought we might have played a little better though, same with Salford.
I still stick to what I have said before. One win wont change anything for me. If we won the next 5 or 6 it wouldnt change my opinion unless the performances pick up alot more and the effort increases more (it got better on Saturday).
But how is person who is running the club day to day meant to make an informed decision on things when he would rather play amatuer RU than go watch us? Theres a lot you cant see on TV. If things were going well I wouldnt be bothered but its times like these that he needs to take a much stronger interest in whats happening on the field

Out the three clubs you name, Wire removed their coach, Bradford should have sacked their coach (imo) and Noble is lucky to have his job

Its about 50/50 I would say, good start followed by a poor run. What happens in the next 5 games will determine how the rest of our season unfolds.

The two games I was annoyed with were Wakey/Cas at home, both should have been victories and that would have placed us firmly in 2nd place. The thing is we have also won tight game like Wigan and Hudds where we could have easily lost. Its okay saying if we had played well but other team would also expect to beat us assuming they are playing well.
