I would have given him 12 months on the fact although he is now average imo, he has appeared to keep relatively injury free and our experience with lack of h/backs makes it a no brainer for me, definitely not 2 though.

'Deserved' on the basis of what?... Sympathy?... Turning in a few half decent performances against the lesser sides?.. Managing to string more than two games together without getting injured?

Horne is nowhere near good enough anymore for a team with aspirations of being in the top 4.

Since we already have Seymour, Ellis and Obst that can play in the halves I'd be happy to have had Nicklas in rather than Horne. 2 experienced pros and 2 youngsters looks a great balance to me.

Burnett to Quins, not sure about the other 3 though. However my point is directed more at players who are tried at SL level then dropped eg Lyne, Aldous, Green & Morrison have not done SL yet. I think instead of giving them a few games it would be more beneficial for them to do a full year, like Burnett to gain experience and build confidence at the same level each week.

Just had a check and Aldous was at York, Green & Morrison at Donny (there was an article on the HFC website about Green scoring tries for fun).

I agree though, Lyne seems like he could do with some Championship experience as the U20's is too easy for him, and he's not ready for SL just yet.

Be good for them will be interesting to see how they fair when we get them back and hopefully make the step up.
I think it does no harm to ship them out to learn their trade there should be no rush to get them in too young, I would love to see Lyne shipped for a 1 yr I think he could really benefit from it.

it is £50k per club, and we still have to make that money, in effect we need nearly 800 season pass holder to pay for Horne, and his predictable drop off pass and kick to the full back that TomTom could only wish for the accuracy of!
