Crusaders are not good for the game IMO, 14 of last weeks squad overseas, they had a promising Full back, but went and signed, who's name are can't spell, Shivkoski??? only my opinion though,. Is,nt TL injured too, he's not played many, must admit Thacks looks in better shape though!!!

Agree but I feel that we would have probably bought the wrong players in and /or not got them gelling in the time scale that Noble has. We would have been saying it'll take two years for these players to get used to the english game/weather /political system etc

That's what Hull are doing in sticking by Richard Agar despite performances over the last couple of years. Meanwhile other clubs such as Warrington, Wigan and Huddersfield (aside from yesterday) have decided to bite the bullet and appoint a top class coach.

A few years back when we were doing well I used to worry that when Simon Moran eventually sacked his mate Cullen they would overtake us, I was mightily relieved when it did happen that he only replaced him with that clown Lowes. Unfortunately though Moran soon came to his senses and got them a proper coach and the rest is history.

It's a similar story with Huddersfield, Jon Sharp had clearly taken them as far as he was ever going to so they eventually replaced him with a top
class coach. Since then they've improved massively... While we appointed their reject to our coaching set up!

Sharp also brought the Giants conditioner with him IIRC. From which point our fitness appears to have declined and theirs improved. Figures.

Can we make that into a massive banner and display it in the East Stand at the next home game?

I'm not an Agar lover, but how has Brown really improved Hudds? he's strengthened, or so it would seem by getting Brough, thats why he went for him, they;ve been hammered out the cup, stuffed by Wigan last week,with few if any injuries!!! am i missing something here? he got them to a cup final, so did RA, Sharp got Hudds to one too, Sharp was heavily critised on here, then some took it all back and said he was Crusaders coach with Noble as team manager and 'what a great job they're doing', i'm as pi++ed off as anyone, but why all the comparsisons with this coach, that coach, this team, that team,?????

If it's not abundantly obvious to you already I really can't see the point in explaining the numerous vast improvements NB has made at Huddersfield.

Perhaps you should go on the Giants board and ask them if they think they are any better off than they were under JS.

I have looked at their board, not much on it really, apart from some slagging off Hodgson, some praising Brown for having a go at Cummings re: a hit on little Luke, so you explain the improvements?

Last season there were 2 teams who over achieved greatly, the Giants were one and we all know who the others were. For crying out loud it weren't so long ago that we were beating Huddersfield and Saints comfortably and looking a good team in the process. Would like to see how NB would do with our squad, he would appear to have improved a couple of their players, Kevin Brown being one, but not sure he has done as much as some would think and I dont think they will be anywhere near the top come the business end to the season (not suggesting we will be either). I am more inclined to believe other teams had started slowly but have now picked up their game, leaving us to look sadly out of our depth along with the Giants, a situation being enhanced by injuries yet again.

The thing is some on their board are saying NB has lost the 'changing room' and are NOT happy!!!!

RA isn't going to lose the changing room though is he, surely he'd just send the Featherstone/Normanton/Ponte mafia round to sort it

They finished 3rd last season and look on course to finish around there again, Ok they got a good beating in the cup but that was one game.

Look how much he has improved players like Mason, Grix and Brown, brought players like Lunt and Cudjoe on.

He is a great coach and would love to have him at Hull.
