| Fantastic performance and result last night. Didn't see that coming. Connor unplayable. Think they knew they had let themselves down at the weekend attitude wise and the response showed. Thought Sao was brilliant and would like to see him continue in the backrow , I think he offers more there. Lovodua just looks a player, he needs to be on the pitch from the start. I reckon he could play any position and still make an impact.

| Fantastic FC performance from 1 - 17, hope those FC fans that think they know better than BH have the balls to come on here and apologise. Ben Mc and Joe L against two marquee players were brilliant. Fast, Brown, Sao, Bowden, Satae in the pack were immense. Everyone stood up in that performance, but wow the snake was unplayable and sent a clear message to the England manager.
Fed up with the utter dross that Barry Mc, Phil Clarke and Wilkin come out with, so one sided in their commentary, and the band was silenced brilliant. Cant wait for Gaints enjoy the rest boys.

Gotta love Satae's performance both in the game and in the rendition of Ole Faithful
The performance last night is a reason why us fans get so frustrated when they are capable of performing but can't seem to get those performances consistently. As poor as Leeds were last night the truth is we never gave them a sniff due to the aggressive defence and the line speed we started with and managed to carry on through most of the game.
It's never dull supporting Hull

Good signs for you going forward with so many players to come back.

| Well not many saw that one coming! Superb performance from 1-17, a total contrast to Sunday and that's what will frustrate many of us. We know this team has got it in them. Yeah Leeds were poor, but that is no fluke, we hit them hard for the first 15 minutes and they didn't want to know for the rest of the game. What we now want to see is performances on a much more consistent basis.
Joe Lovodua could genuinely go down as a cult hero at this club. This is a young lad who's travelled to the other side of the world and hadn't played a competitive game for near enough 2 years. 5 games in and near enough 5 different positions and he's looked comfortable in every one of them.
On a sadder note, absolutely gutted for Cator, rotten luck. Hopefully the others who copped knocks aren't as serious.

Was it just me or did Wilkin have verbal diarrhoea last night as he just to seem to be permanently be talking in the background throughout the game and found it a little irritating.

I said the same. Loves the sound of his own voice and pontificates when he could say things a lot quicker and simpler, but compared to JJB, he is a better option for the pundits, he at least sounds educated and speaks clearly,

To be fair I don't usually mind him say pre match or at halftime (as I can do something else) but last night he just seemed to be talking all the way through the game in the background rather than just coming in at certain points, it was a constant drone.
Barrie usually gets out his book of cliches etc but after the game I actually thought he questioned Moorehouse quite well with genuine valid pionts and concerns. Think it would be fair to say that neither he or Carney were impressed with her comments as it all lacked any real substance to the cause.
Unfortunately RL is a physical contact sport and that is what attracts not only fans to the game but players and its a fine line between player safety in terms of taking out genuine foul play and general play that carries a risk.
Both Moorhouse and Cullen failed to grasp or accept its not the offences that have always been red/yellow card offences that are the issue its things like the two yellows last night that were not and should not be yellows that is killing the game.
After watching the Evans one several times its actually Walker running in to Evans chest and him bouncing off him so how is a defending player supposed to avoid that? I didn't see any direct contact to the head from Evans shoulder or arm, thought Prior was a little unlucky too as there wasn't any awful lot in that either.

That's got to be his best performance for us as he was outstanding and on a 4 day turnaround with pitches that are still looking pretty heavy.
I'd have him over Walmsley everyday of the week

On the replays, I thought both Evans and Prior were both unlucky to be binned for those tackles. However, I suspect they’ll both still get a one match ban on Monday.

I genuinely think , when they are on it, Sao and Satae are as good a front row as any, including Saints.
Awesome running game last night, how Walker tackled big Chris yards from the line , at full tilt, was amazing. It had try written all over it and the fullback did an amazing job to stop it. Jake Connor though!

Not as appalling as previously, the last 4 seasons we have won our games there:
2019 - 24 - 26
2020 - 4 - 30 (we lost there 40 - 22 in the October but that was the Hull home fixture due to Covid )
2021 - 12 - 18
2022 - 8 - 31
Just need to sort our home record out now!

Not weird at all, the tackle was incredible and by the slightest player on the pitch, on one of the biggest.
Raps to our props, but at the time, that looked like a try all day long. Leeds' props couldn't handle Satae and Sao was superb, a real gem of a signing who is streets ahead of most props, with a few exceptions and I wouldn't swap either player for any other prop in SL. But praising a tackle that stopped a certain try is not weird , and one of the only few highlights of Leeds display.
