I heard it along with the full interview. You heard it correctly, GL said that "he had heard mutterings" that his agent was touting him around.

Nobody else on the panel added anything and I think that it was probably nothing more than mischief making.

We should have gone for Ryan O'Hara. I like O'Meley and hope he stays but no one player is bigger than the club and if it meant that we had to lose Agar and O'Meley I'd take it.

They've made some pi$$ poor signings. IMO. O'Hara's ok better than Vella at the moment but not as good as the Vella they signed if you get my drift.

to be fair to horne, he looks miles better now than when he was at fc....maybe go as far as saying, he'd be a better siging than his brother!!! didnt think id have ever of said that 3 years ago....

Well he was always touted as the better of the two when he was younger just never reached the level probably due to the lack of real development within the club from junior level to senior, hence why we have some great young kids but they never seem to make it further than academy level unlike other clubs who churn then out on what seems like an endless production line.

I said at the time that Kath giving Horne another two years just before the takeover got completed reminded me of when Bill Clinton dished out all those pardons during his last days in office.

That is a good point, we have young talent who clearly excel in the 20s however are not quite ready for SL other clubs send them in the championship to gain that extra experience apart from Craig Hall I cannot remember when we last did this.

Horne deserved a new deal and I think two years is about right.
