Awful game. They both tried to play percentage rugby because of the weather, but still made loads of errors anyway.

I just felt sorry for both sides, looked out on their feet. Weird position to be in league wise. Tomorrow is the sort of game we'd have ground out in 2016 that's for sure. Hopefully drier conditions than tonight's game.

Nope, we are definitely a fair weather team, a few years ago muddy wet was a leveler in our favour, these days it goes against us.
I think Hull just naturally adapt well to muddy wet, we want a fast track, no wrasslin and a keen ref...

So all the comments about our lightweight pack over the last 9 months can be taken with a pinch of salt.

We are a very poor wet weather team. The hotter the better for us, all of our most memorable performances in recent years have come when it's been baking hot.

Kelly didn't look too bad towards the end, he started using his left arm again.
They appeared to be looking at Logans foot or ankle at the end.

A satisfying win in a round of fixtures that's always tough but we have a nervous wait for some injury assessments.

Carlos would be a big loss, such an important player for us.

The referee really struggled today, thankfully it didn't have a bearing on the result.

A good a deserved win even though we made it harder than it should have been, and losing Hadley & Carlos. The ref was truly shocking. No problem with the yellow card for Ellis but once he’d set his stall out then why no yellow fir at least two similar high shots with contact with the head by Wakefield and just a penalty? Same Ruth the obstruction, we were rightly pinged for it but yet Wakefield did it 3 times and nothing called.
Another good showing by Wynne and Griffin again doing a lot of work and making metres.

Overall 4ptd from 6 over the 3 games we should be happy with
